LKD15: Service Archaeology using STATIK. Tom Reynolds & Eben Halfords

We will explore the practical implementation of a STATIK (Systems Thinking Approach to Implementing Kanban) workshop and how we dig to uncover how teams work; what they do, why they do it, their customers’ dissatisfactions, and theirs. We examine the purpose of the system, and ultimately turn the treasures that we unearth into a kanban systems design. We further investigate this topic by taking you through a recent dig and showing you how we conducted it, the treasures and traps that we found and how we put these finds on display through the visualisation of our kanban system.
